Happy New Moon in Virgo! Gathering in circles to honor the moon is an ancient tradition that helps us synchronize our human experience with the cycles of nature. When the moon is new it is in its darkest stage. This is a ripe time to go inward, access the depths of our intuition, and cast our dreams intention for the next cycle. The seeds we plant at this time will take root and blossom as the moons energy waxes and builds to the full moon, shedding light on what shadow patterns have come up to release and heal.

This New Moon is in Virgo. “The Virgin” is a Mutable Earth sign known as The Craftsman. Virgo says, “I Analyze”, and the ruling planet is Mercury. Virgo’s flower is Buttercup and day of the week is Wednesday. Its color is Navy Blue and lucky numbers 3 & 5. We invite you to COLOR PLAY with us if it resonates with you by wearing white & navy blue.

Our Ceremony begins with a group smudge, grounding us to our space, and clearing our energy. We will discuss where the moon is in transit, and how it affects us for this cycle. Next, we will join in a circle and tune into our highest consciousness by sharing our unique vibrations through Mantra (chanting). After we’ve tuned in we will practice Kundalini pranayama breath work followed by a sound bath that includes hands-on Reiki. We will return from our sound journey to join in a Kundalini Healing Ring of Tantra Meditation to honor any part of our inner child that calls for healing. To conclude we will end with a sharing circle where everyone will have a voice to share their intentions and collective wisdom.

The Center has a very limited number of blankets, mats, and eye covers. Please bring any items you need to be comfortable, such as a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow. Feel free to also bring any crystals you would like to charge with our ceremony energy.
